I love Linda Sue Parks, and she did not let me down with this book. I read it two months ago, but it's still on my mind, so I figure it's worthy of a quick review. Here's what I loved: in between each chapter is dialogue between the fictional main character and the author. Intriguing? The main character complains to the author about her annoying brother and the way she wants the plot to go. Absolute genius. Who says young adult books aren't great literature?
